How to Clean Your Phone Case
Jan 11, 2024
Cleaning a phone case is a straightforward process and is the same whether you have a traditional phone case or a Süti PhoneBack.
-
Remove Your Phone: Take your phone out of the case or remove your PhoneBack.
-
Gentle Soap and Water Solution:
- Fill a bowl with lukewarm water.
- Add a small amount of mild liquid soap (such as dish soap) to create a soapy solution.
-
Dampen a Cloth or Sponge: Dip a soft, lint-free cloth or sponge into the soapy water. Ensure it's just damp, not soaking wet.
-
Wipe the Case or PhoneBack: Gently wipe the exterior, paying attention to any stains or dirt. Avoid getting water or soap into the openings, like ports or buttons of traditional phone cases. There's really nothing you can harm on your PhoneBack.
-
Rinse with Clean Water: Rinse with clean water to remove any soap residue.
-
Dry Thoroughly: Use a dry, clean cloth to wipe off excess water. Allow the case to air dry completely before using.
-
Disinfecting (Optional): If desired, you can disinfect by using disinfectant wipes or a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water (70% alcohol to 30% water). Wipe down the case or PhoneBack gently, ensuring it dries completely before using.
-
Reassemble: Once the case or PhoneBack is entirely dry, place your phone back into it the case or snap your PhoneBack onto your iPhone.
-
Regular Maintenance: To keep your phone case or PhoneBack clean, make it a habit to wipe it down with a damp cloth regularly, especially if it's exposed to dirt, dust, or spills.
Remember, the key is to be gentle to avoid scratching or damaging the case or PhoneBack. Cleaning periodically not only keeps it looking good but also helps maintain hygiene, which is essential for a frequently touched item like your phone.
